We escaped very last minute this weekend up to Lake Placid, NY - where John grew up vacationing and where his parents now live. It was the perfect time for us to take a break from the city and I am so very grateful for the getaway. It was pretty perfect fall weather, too. The trees were peaking, the sun was unusually warm and the lake was perfectly chill for our furry baby to take lots of dips.
