I mentioned my ribbon swap on the 2011 Calendar a couple weeks ago, and here they are side by side. The old synthetic "shoelace" ribbon on the left, and Carta Inc.'s Italian cotton ribbon on the right. I had originally thought a thicker ribbon would be better, but I instantly fell for the sweet & simple nature of this thin one. It also feels 100 times nicer (it's Italian. duh!) and big bonus on convenience: the knot fits through the hole, so there's no need to untie the bow after each month. I hope you all agree that this was a great little update. (Thank you, Angela!)

We just got our shipment in today - love that thinner, simple ribbon - also got our birthday calendars - awesome! Hope we will be able to order more!
