L&H 2009 Calendar!
We are thrilled to announce the Linda & Harriett letterpress 2009 calendar! This is definitely one of my most favorite projects of the year. I have been making notes on each month's design and am so excited with the result of color, image & pattern! July is my favorite, I have to say. I want to take this mermaid-inspired pattern and use it for everything. Watch out - it might be the new pig. Or the new zig zag:) Since I cannot get enough of hand-lettering, I decided to do the whole thing by hand - which just tops it all off for me.
So - do you have a favorite month?

Liz,
Love June, and love the hand numbering! Great calendar :)
I love August, which is rare, since August usually stinks on calenders! It's my birthday month, so thank you. I love the whole thing though, so I must have one! Great work.
Lovely! Love it all but especially love the calendar + September. Great colors!
I'm with you – the mermaid pattern for July is fabulous! I love September's leaves too. You did such an incredible job... I can't wait until January to hang it up!
Liz, the calendar looks fabulous! I may be biased, but I like the June oysters...

August. Without a doubt! Augst is my favorite!
Do you remember Vested Gentress clothes? They were a Philadelphia Lilly Pulitzer-esque textile/clothing company. Anyway, I had 2 pairs of Vested Gentress shorts as a kid-- white with red and blue sea horses and yellow with lavendar and green sea horses. Love the August sea horses!

It's gorgeous! I love the hand numbering - such a charming touch. As for my favorite month, it's really hard to choose given they're all great! Seriously, I love them all!
I particularly like May and July, but the whole thing is just gorgeous! I can't wait to see it in person!
GORGEOUS!!! love love love this one...even better than last years!
Liz, that is not even a fair question. The whole thing is amazingly eye-catching and beautiful!! Way to go!
I love August!
