Lessons Learned

boomp3.com

I wouldn't say I'm a die hard Ray LaMontagne fan, but the instrumental part (wouldn't say I'm a huge instrumental fan either) of Lessons Learned is to die for! I started listening to more of his songs recently, and cannot get enough of this one. I listen to the beginning of it over and over.

Ooh.This is good. He opened for John Mayer's Trio a few years back. I was in the 2nd row. His live performance outdid any recordings of his I'd heard. He is so shy and adorable on stage. He's from Maine you know?

He's great live! And not only is he from Maine but he's from Lewiston!

Oh wow. Ray LaMontagne was my first real concert a couple of years back (a shame, at age 23), and it was almost a religious experience. Rarely does a day go by that I don't listen to at least one of his songs. Give him another whirl, won't you? :)
